You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. And you’ll no longer be called ‘Deserted,’ and your land will no longer be called ‘Desolate’; but people will call you ‘Hephzibah,’and your land ‘Beulah’—for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.” Isaiah 62:3-5

According to the Bible, God promised to give Israel a land because of their faithfulness. The land served as a physical sign of a spiritual relationship. The land was like a wedding ring symbolizing the covenant relationship between God and a people. The land was called “Beulah” which means the Lord delights in thee. Our beloved founder, Jaramogi Abebe Agyemen said, “For us, the Beulah Land Farm is the same kind of symbol. God has given us the largest black-owned farm in America because of our historic faithfulness and commitment to doing God’s will.” In order to realize God’s ultimate intention for Beulah Land, we must continue our faithfulness by doing our part through the Beulah Giving Pledge.
